We're looking for a motivated Junior IT Systems Administrator to join our IT team and support day-to-day IT operations. This role covers Atlassian platform administration (Jira and Confluence) alongside hands-on daily IT operations, including help desk support, user and identity management, endpoint administration, and oversight of the core tools our teams depend on every day. You'll work across a focused, modern tech stack and partner with teams across operations, support, product, engineering, and compliance to configure tools, resolve issues, and ensure systems and tools remain operational across the organization. This is a strong fit for someone early in their IT career who wants broad technical ownership inside a fast-growing fintech company.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a systems administration, IT support, or help desk role.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira Software in an administrative or power-user capacity, including project setup, workflows, and user management.
  • Working knowledge of Confluence for space administration, page creation, and access control.
  • Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, including the Admin Console, user management, and core app configuration.
  • Working experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, covering user provisioning, licensing, and basic service administration.
  • Familiarity with DNS management and record types (A, CNAME, MX, TXT) and zone administration.
  • Experience with a password management platform (1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, or similar) in an organizational context.
  • Able to translate technical concepts clearly for non-technical users across multiple departments.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities while staying organized across all responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on Cloudflare experience with DNS, firewall rules, WAF, or Zero Trust / Cloudflare Access configuration.
  • Experience administering 1Password Teams or Business, including vault management, group permissions, and access auditing.
  • Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) in Jira Administration or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Automation for no-code/low-code workflow rule building.
  • Basic scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash for automation and user management tasks.
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Jamf (macOS) or Microsoft Intune.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust network access concepts and implementation.
  • Prior experience in fintech, prop trading, or a compliance-conscious environment. Familiarity with CFTC/NFA regulatory frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience supporting a distributed or hybrid workforce across multiple SaaS platforms.
  • Background supporting Agile or product-led teams using Jira for sprint management and backlog tracking.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools, including Claude.ai or similar LLM-based platforms, in a business context.
  • ITIL foundations knowledge or experience working within an ITIL-aligned IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Administer Jira Software projects for teams across operations, support, product, engineering, and compliance, including workflows, issue types, custom fields, screens, permission schemes, and board configurations.
  • Create and manage Confluence spaces, page templates, and access controls to support team documentation, evaluation rule knowledge bases, and internal SOPs.
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and roles across Atlassian Cloud; build dashboards, saved filters, and JQL-based reports to support team visibility; configure Jira Automation rules to reduce manual work across workflows.
  • Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests; triage, prioritize, and resolve incidents within SLA targets.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain employee workstations, laptops, and peripherals across Windows and macOS environments; manage IT asset inventory including hardware lifecycle and software licenses.
  • Support endpoint security hygiene including patch management, MFA enrollment, and policy enforcement across the tool stack.
  • Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, tool rollouts, and process improvements under senior guidance.
  • Administer Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, managing users, groups, licenses, organizational units, and security settings across both platforms via the Google Admin Console and Entra ID.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding across all platforms, including provisioning and de-provisioning accounts, managing access, and enforcing data retention policies.
  • Manage Cloudflare DNS, zone configurations, firewall and WAF rules, and Zero Trust / Cloudflare Access settings for company-owned domains and internal applications.
  • Administer 1Password — manage users, groups, vault permissions, and credential access; enforce password security policies and conduct periodic access audits to maintain credential hygiene.
