The IT Support Technician will be responsible for responding to help desk tickets and other requests for technical assistance from employees. This role involves diagnosing and fixing problems with computer systems, printers, software, and other peripheral devices, ranging from password resets to complex network issues. The technician will also set up new equipment, install and manage software, perform regular maintenance, monitor systems for security threats, and document troubleshooting steps. Collaboration with other IT members and training employees on hardware and software usage are also key aspects of the position. Additionally, the role includes managing user accounts and permissions, performing PC maintenance, hardware and software installation, equipment salvages, and inventory tracking. The technician will also set up, configure, and troubleshoot printers, requiring the ability to lift and relocate equipment up to 50lbs. Adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining equipment inventory, and performing other assigned tasks are also required.
