About The Position

Shoreline is seeking a talented IT Support Technician to provide technical support across Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois. This role offers a dynamic work environment with daily variety, hands-on challenges, and opportunities to learn and work with a wide range of technologies. You’ll gain experience across IT infrastructure, telecommunications, sensors and security systems (doors, cameras), audio and video systems, and more. The IT Support Technician (L1-L4) will provide Level 1-4 IT support both remotely and onsite to a diverse client base. You will play a key role in the strategy, management, and maintenance of client technology infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Server and network management experience
  • Workstation and server migrations
  • Windows OS support (Windows 7–11 required)
  • Windows Server (2016–2025 preferred)
  • Firewalls (DNAT, port forwarding, WAN/LAN, VLANs)
  • Switches (VLANs, OSI model understanding)
  • Access points (including point-to-point systems)
  • Cisco or Ubiquiti/UniFi experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Friendly and personable demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and memory retention
  • Customer-focused and calm under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Ability to use power tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be able to commute to Muskegon, MI (49444)
  • Must be willing to relocate before starting if not local

  • Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment experience

  • Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • VMware or Hyper-V experience
  • Wireshark and Linux command line experience
  • Clean background (no prior convictions or felonies)
  • Military service (especially with active security clearance)

  • 3+ professional references

Responsibilities

  • Deliver remote and onsite IT support
  • Manage and maintain client infrastructure
