Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum one year of experience supporting computer hardware, software installations, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft 365, and related business applications.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, networking concepts, printers, mobile devices, and common business technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated patience and professionalism when assisting users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members and vendors.
  • Must meet and maintain the requirements of being an approved driver and driving a personal vehicle on organization business.
  • A solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in an IT-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support to staff, interns, volunteers, and clients by troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and application issues.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain technology systems including computers, printers, phones, cameras, wireless networking equipment, and teleconference systems.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets, escalating issues to the IT Manager when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on technology systems, software applications, and best practices.
  • Assist with maintaining and supporting organizational networks, servers, user accounts, security systems, and business applications.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, software, and licenses throughout the organization.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and process guides.
  • Ensure audio-visual equipment is functioning properly for meetings, events, and ministry activities, including setup and troubleshooting.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency and support organizational goals.
  • Participate in devotions, prayers, and other organization activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle.
