About The Position
Northwest Respiratory Services is seeking a Part Time IT Support technician to support our Eagan, MN Office. This position will offer 20 hours per week and be fully onsite. The IT Support Technician provides day-to-day technical support to employees and assists with the maintenance and improvement of the organization's IT environment. This position is primarily focused on Level 1 helpdesk support, with some Level 2 troubleshooting and involvement in broader IT systems, applications, infrastructure, and projects.
Requirements
- At least one year of IT Support experience or similar
- Basic TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, wired and wireless troubleshooting
- Familiarity with supporting a primarily Microsoft-based business
- Familiarity with: Systems/Platforms- Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, FortiGate, Cisco
- Familiarity with Hardware- Servers, Desktops/Laptops, Printers, Fax, Tablets, Phones (Desk/Cell)
- Familiarity with Operating Systems- Windows 10/11, Server 2012 R2-2025, iOS, Linux Distros
Nice To Haves
- Degrees, certifications, and home-lab personal projects experience are a plus!
Responsibilities
- Provide troubleshooting for staff in person and through remote support tools
- Track, document, prioritize, and resolve support requests
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding users and their associated accounts/devices
- Perform light scripting, app configuration, reporting, or similar technical work
- Assist with the development, installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, equipment, and infrastructure
- Assist with IT projects involving applications, infrastructure, security, deployments, process improvements, system configuration, or technical research
- Follow established security practices and support the proper handling of company and regulated data
- Other duties as assigned/needed
