About The Position

Working in conjunction with the IT Department Staff, the Summer IT Support Technician(s) will complete high-priority tasks such as installing new equipment, servicing staff and student laptops, and completing infrastructure projects. Up to 40 hours per week (Summer 2026), $25.00/hr.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated experience with basic computer troubleshooting (hardware/software).
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Chrome OS environments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a help desk, IT support, or educational technology environment.
  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or similar are a plus.
  • Familiarity with educational software and systems (Google Workspace for Education, learning management systems, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computers, printers, projectors, and other classroom technologies.
  • Respond to help desk tickets, emails, or in-person requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document issues and solutions in the help desk tracking system.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on ongoing projects and technology rollouts.
  • Install and terminate a Cat6 Ethernet cable
  • Other duties as assigned
