About The Position

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day support for PC hardware and basic software operations at our Miami facility. This role focuses on the physical setup of workstations, troubleshooting common hardware issues, and ensuring that all employee devices are properly imaged and functional. You will serve as part of the IT team for staff needing assistance with their computers, printers, and other desktop peripherals.

Requirements

  • Entry-level or 1 year of experience in a role involving computer hardware or manual technical tasks.
  • Basic familiarity with Windows-based PCs and standard computer hardware components.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, crawl under desks for cabling, and remain mobile throughout the facility as needed to complete hardware tasks.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • A dependable and helpful approach when assisting staff with technical needs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English; Spanish bilingual skills are beneficial.
  • A commitment to keeping hardware organized and workstations looking professional.

Responsibilities

  • Unbox, move, and set up PCs, monitors, docking stations and printers to ensure employees have a fully functional workspace.
  • Assist staff in warehouse with hubs, cables and other hardware issues.
  • Reimage desktop and laptop computers with the standard company OS and verify that basic software is working correctly.
  • Identify and resolve common PC issues, such as slow performance, peripheral connectivity problems, or hardware malfunctions.
  • Perform basic hardware tasks, including replacing keyboards, mice, power supplies, and laptop batteries.
  • Run network cables, setup access points, and other networking equipment.
  • Handle routine printer tasks including clearing jams, replacing toner/ink, and confirming network connectivity.
  • Set up and provide basic troubleshooting for webcams, headsets, and multi-monitor configurations.
  • Assist in tracking the movement of hardware and updating inventory records to ensure all equipment is accounted for.
  • Receive new equipment shipments and organize the storage of spare parts and cables.
  • Maintain tidy cabling and clean IT work areas to ensure a safe and professional environment.
  • Clean and maintain network equipment and PCs to prevent overheating and malfunction.
  • Assist employees with basic technical requests, such as password resets or connecting to the office Wi-Fi.
  • Complete assigned tickets and tasks in ITSM
