IT Support Technician II
About The Position
Flexco, a leading global manufacturer of conveyor system solutions, is seeking an IT Support Technician II. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, infrastructure management, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral installations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and will provide top-notch support to our internal users. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others and creating a positive user experience. This role will be based out of the Grand Rapids location. An IT Support Technician II at Flexco can expect a starting hourly range between $31.00 and $39.00 or more, depending on skills, education and experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology field.
- 5 years of experience installing and maintaining Windows based Servers and various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
- 5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, laptops, and printers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others to solve problems.
Nice To Haves
- Professional certification such as CompTIA A+, M365 Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent are a huge plus
- ITIL, A+, Help Desk Analyst or Field Service Technician Certification is a plus
- CCNA or Network+ Certification a plus
- Experience supporting MAC systems will be a plus
Responsibilities
- User Support and Issue Resolution via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
- Incident Management
- Hardware and Software Support
- User Account Management and Access Control
- Asset Management
- Act as project lead for telecommunication, audio/visual (AV), handheld terminal and printer deployment projects.
- Research, recommend, implement, and maintain audio/visual (AV) solutions.
