About The Position

Newly Weds Foods is seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician I to join their IT Service Delivery & Support team. This entry-level role provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for corporate users, warehouse operations, manufacturing environments, and remote employees. The technician will support end-user technologies, IT service management processes, device provisioning, and lifecycle management, delivering exceptional customer service through various support channels. This is an on-site position at the Chicago campus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in Information Technology, Help Desk, Desktop Support, End User Services, or Technical Support.
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and approved business applications.
  • Respond to incidents and service requests through the corporate ticketing platform.
  • Document all troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and communications within the ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT resources while maintaining ownership and communication with the end user.
  • Deliver professional customer service while maintaining service level expectations.
  • Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, monitors, docking stations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Support conference room technology, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
  • Assist in supporting warehouse and manufacturing technology environments.
  • Support RF Scanning and warehouse printing solutions.
  • Support mobile device enrollment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Follow established Incident Management, Service Request, and Change Management procedures.
  • Prioritize requests appropriately based on business impact and urgency.
  • Support technology refreshes, hardware deployments, go-lives, site integrations, and IT rollouts.
  • Assist with equipment staging, imaging, testing, and deployment activities.
