About The Position

State Electric Supply Co. is seeking a dedicated and motivated IT Support Tech to join their team. This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems. The IT Support Tech will be responsible for identifying solutions, diagnosing and repairing problems, resolving network issues, and installing/configuring hardware and software. They will also provide customer feedback, guide users through problem resolution, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved. The role includes replacing or repairing parts, supporting new application roll-outs, managing multiple cases, and testing new technologies. Additionally, the IT Support Tech will conduct electrical safety checks on equipment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS
• Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software
• Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is preferred
