About The Position

S&W Wholesale Foods of Hammond is seeking an IT Support Technician that is self-motivated, a team player and willing to work in a challenging, fast-paced work environment. The IT Support Technician is responsible for maintaining computer systems and other technologies in an office / warehouse setting. Their duties include working with other IT Technicians to install hardware and troubleshoot computer / server issues, responding to IT inquiries from other employees, maintaining office / warehouse functionality for a 24/7 operation, and updating / maintaining security protection software and procedures to prevent viruses or computer hacking. The onsite work environment consists of an office area, warehouse, cooler, and freezer that all require IT functionality and maintenance. The temperature ranges widely consistent with the work environments previously mentioned. A large portion of the equipment is installed in locations that will require the use of a manlift to access devices. The IT Support Technician hired for this role must be willing to operate and work using a manlift at varying heights. This position is 100% on-site.

Requirements
