The Information Technology Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to employees, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and FSBT policies related to information security, and maintaining the organization’s data and telecommunications networks. All business units depend on this position to provide accurate information in a timely manner and to troubleshoot users’ problems as they arise. Technical problems need to be resolved expeditiously. Problems may require investigation to consider alternative courses of action. Some of the more difficult aspects of this position include: Remaining technically current, Working with users to diagnose the specific nature of their problems, Resolving technical problems, Handling concurrent projects/activities, Allocating resources to meet job demands.
