About The Position
Harper General Contractors is a commercial construction company serving the southeast with offices across North and South Carolina. The IT Support Specialist will setup, configure and troubleshoot end-user technology including network, software, hardware, and operating systems. Duties will be performed in both office environments and construction jobsites.
Requirements
- A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Windows 10, Office 365, Apple iOS, Networking.
- Active Directory account management.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Two to three years’ experience in a support capacity in a user-oriented environment.
- Valid US driver's license required.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Certifications desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist office staff and field users with software and hardware problem resolution.
- Monitor helpdesk and take appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory response within specified time frames.
- Document time spent and resolution details in ticketing system.
- Machine imaging using MDT/WDS/Intune.
- Windows Active Directory user account creation and management.
- Issue/replace hardware and software as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Stay up to date with current trends and be prepared to make recommendations.
