About The Position

Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) is seeking an in-house, IT Support Specialist to provide onsite support for all technology within Authentic's offices. As the company grows rapidly, this role requires a hands-on, experienced technology specialist to directly support employees and contribute to shaping the company's technology future. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to solve problems, and comfortable working with a technology stack that includes Macs and Windows-based laptops, Office 365, Teams, Box, and various marketing and sales technologies (Teams/Zoom Rooms, DTENs, Crestron, Brightsign, etc.). This position reports to the IT Support Lead.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in end-user support in a mid-to-large business environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to multitask, prioritize issues based on severity, and work within a team environment.
  • Empathetic approach to users' issues.
  • Strong knowledge of MAC OS (70%) and Microsoft OS (30%).
  • Experience with Box and/or other SaaS-based content storage support.
  • Experience with automated management and deployment tools such as JAMF and ConnectWise products.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly with minimal guidance.
  • Enjoys technical challenges and takes pride in solving them.
  • Ability to promptly and tactfully communicate with end-users, provide solutions, and/or direct unresolved issues to appropriate IT team members.
  • Thorough understanding of hardware setup and software installations, including Office 365, and account setup (email, server access, VPN access).
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills; comfortable handling high demand and expediting multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy principles.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve daily ticket requests for tier 1 and 2 technical issues, including those from US and international regions (EMEA, APAC).
  • Track and complete all tasks in the IT ticketing system.
  • Manage communication between end-users and escalate higher-profile issues.
  • Create, follow, and improve documented procedures.
  • Interact daily with end-users regarding inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Support Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 with Teams, and other applications by managing user and group accounts and permissions.
  • Provide executive support as needed.
  • Manage local and remote onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning accounts and equipment for new hires and collecting equipment for offboarding.
  • Train and guide staff on best practices for hardware and software usage.
  • Support on-site office operations, including printers, A/V equipment in conference rooms, and workstation setup.
  • Use remote support tools to guide end-users through troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across macOS, Windows, and mobile iOS.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT hardware.
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation for support and potential weekend work.
  • Coordinate and facilitate vendor support for hardware failures and maintenance.
  • Work one-on-one with employees to troubleshoot and correct hardware and software issues.
  • Participate in the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
  • Develop and deliver support and other IT-related reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and implement system updates, upgrades, and new technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Lift, squat, and move at least 40lbs.
