About The Position

As an IT Support Specialist at Buildertrend, you will help keep our teams connected, productive, and focused on serving builders around the world. Your work ensures that employees can rely on secure, high-performing systems every day, whether they are solving customer problems or building new features. You will be the go-to resource when technology gets in the way and the steady hand that keeps it running smoothly. Requirements

  • 1+ year of IT support or related experience preferred
  • Familiar with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication with nontechnical users
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Understanding of IT security fundamentals
  • Able to lift and move equipment as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, escalating when needed
  • Maintain and support IT systems, including installations, upgrades, and device setup
  • Apply security updates and follow best practices to keep systems protected
  • Track support requests and maintain clear, accurate documentation
  • Support internal events with audio and video setup and troubleshooting
  • Embrace using AI as a tool to enhance your work, while applying critical thinking and owning the quality of results
