About The Position

We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to join our Accounting/IT department and support our organization's technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will be responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support, managing user accounts (including Active Directory and Office 365 setups), maintaining IT asset inventories, and coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1+ years in an IT support setting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support end-users effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal staff and external vendors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in IT or a related field preferred.
  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Ensure users have correct account permissions by collaborating with SSVA (third-party IT vendor).
  • Maintain compliance with access and security protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user technical issues efficiently.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher support tiers or specialized teams as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Ensure proper allocation and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Manage relationships with utility and service providers.
  • Negotiate, renew, and maintain IT service agreements to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Perform regular system updates and routine maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
  • Work closely with external vendors to ensure proper system functionality.
  • Coordinate efforts for system enhancements and issue resolution.
