About The Position

The IT Support Specialist provides Tier 1 technical support for end users, resolving issues related to workstations, software applications, and IT services. The role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations across NESN’s user base.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of IT support experience
  • Bachelor’s or relevant technical certification
  • Must be comfortable working occasional evenings or weekends as business needs dictate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational and time management abilities
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in: Microsoft Office, Basic Windows troubleshooting, Jira, Zoom, Teams

Nice To Haves

  • Any of the following, preferred: A+/Network+, Security+, Microsoft 365 Admin Certifications
  • Apple OS and hardware experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with MDM solutions and remote access platforms, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets via phone, email, or remote assistance.
  • Provide basic hardware/software troubleshooting, including printing, faxing, and peripheral device support.
  • Maintain and update documentation in Jira/Confluence.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new users, including setup and orientation.
  • Support MS Office Suite, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and conferencing room technology.
  • Maintain asset tracking records and assist with lifecycle management.
