About The Position

As our IT Support Specialist, you will help the Information Technology Team by assisting our internal employees with IT Helpdesk support calls to prevent and troubleshoot technology issues as well as assist with hardware and software installations. Every day you will assist in the operation of computer networks by installing hardware such as PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and phones. You will prepare new computers for installation including loading operating systems, application software, and installing necessary hardware, security, and login information. You will be the first line of contact, reporting issues, solutions, and escalations in the ITSM Solution.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills and strong self-motivation
  • A genuine enjoyment of helping others and working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technology issues across diverse software and hardware systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications, Jira or other IT ticketing systems and Remote Desktop support tools

Nice To Haves

  • A 4-year degree in Computer Engineering or similar field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • ITIL v4 Foundation training
