About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site IT Support Specialist, 2nd Shift / Mesa 2 to join their new Technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona. This role reports to the IT Support Manager and will provide advanced technical support by diagnosing and resolving complex hardware and software issues. This requires a deeper understanding of systems and applications, often involving in-depth troubleshooting, remote access, and coordination with other IT teams to ensure timely problem resolution. This position is for 2nd shift, working from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT or Help Desk environments.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, network infrastructure, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and other common enterprise management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to clearly explain technical concepts to users.
  • Provide a positive user experience and customer service focus by resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity of Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems preferred.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, and peripheral equipment such as printers, monitors, and audio-visual equipment.
  • Respond promptly to service requests ensuring timely resolution and appropriate escalation when necessary.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including network connectivity problems, application errors, server/workstation configuration issues, and other advanced hardware failures.
  • Utilize remote access tools to support and troubleshoot end-user devices and systems.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to users with varying levels of technical proficiency, providing effective and user-friendly solutions.
  • Ensure processes and equipment adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base by documenting solutions, best practices, and recurring issues.
  • Perform basic system administration tasks, including user account management, permissions updates, and software patching.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues before they impact users.
  • Implement and maintain imaging processes to streamline workstation deployment and device management.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware and software assets.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
