About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support to end users. The ideal candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring prompt and effective solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zoho Desk).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, copiers, software applications, network connectivity, and other IT-related equipment.
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and computer hardware, including setup of new or replacement computers.
  • Assist with user account management, including password resets and access changes across Active Directory and other systems.
  • Assist users with technical ERP issues such as connectivity, printing, reporting, or login problems; escalate process-related issues to appropriate area.
  • Log and track all support requests in our ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation of issues and resolutions. Prioritize and escalate tickets as needed.
  • Coordinate IT tasks for employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring proper setup or removal of accounts, devices, and system access.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our knowledge base by documenting common issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Maintain and track IT assets, including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, scanners, and peripherals.
  • Participate in IT projects as assigned, such as software rollouts or hardware upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
