About The Position

The IT Support Specialist provides day-to-day technical assistance and operational support across the organization. This role assists in maintaining company devices, systems, and data security, while helping to implement and improve technology tools that support business operations. The IT Support Specialist works closely with the Technology Manager to ensure timely resolution of IT requests, proper onboarding and off-boarding procedures, and reliable technology performance across departments.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support, technical coordination, or systems administration.
  • Strong technical aptitude with experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and connectivity issues in mostly a MAC & Google Suite Environment.
  • Familiarity with data backup, security protocols, and antivirus management.
  • Experience using ticketing systems or help desk tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based tools and systems (e.g., Google Workspace, Monday.com, AWS, or similar platforms).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to internal teams, including setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of devices, software, and user accounts.
  • Assist with onboarding and off-boarding processes by managing access permissions, hardware allocation, and account setup/deactivation.
  • Maintain the IT help tracking system to ensure all requests are documented, prioritized, and resolved promptly.
  • Support the creation and improvement of technology tools, such as Monday.com boards and automation workflows.
  • Monitor and respond to Monday.com requests for onboarding (twice weekly), off-boarding (daily), and urgent IT needs (daily).
  • Ensure all company devices are properly secured and protected against spyware, viruses, and other threats.
  • Manage data backup processes across all brands and software platforms to maintain business continuity and data integrity.
  • Track and maintain inventory of company laptops and equipment to ensure readiness for new hires or replacements.
  • Assist with special projects, technology rollouts, and internal system enhancements as assigned by the Technology Manager.
  • Follow established IT and security protocols, identifying opportunities for improvement where applicable.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
