About The Position

The IT Support Specialist will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day IT operations across the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of end-user systems, business applications, and IT infrastructure. As the first point of contact for IT-related issues, the successful candidate will provide timely support, manage user access, and contribute to maintaining a secure and well-functioning IT environment in a fast-paced, multi-entity organization.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and business applications
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, Wi-Fi, VLANs)
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, licensing, and access control
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Maintain user access in accordance with internal policies and security standards
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT tickets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT resources or external vendors when required
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Track and manage IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory and proper labeling
  • Coordinate hardware repairs, upgrades, and replacements
  • Support procurement processes, including vendor communication and quote collection
  • Follow up on IT orders, deliveries, and service requests
  • Assist in maintaining operational continuity across systems and infrastructure
  • Assist with basic cybersecurity monitoring and endpoint checks
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and security protocols
  • Support audit readiness through proper documentation and system controls
  • Maintain accurate IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures
  • Support the development and improvement of IT policies and workflows
  • Contribute to building scalable IT processes as the organization grows
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
