About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong IT Support Specialist / IT Operations Assistant to support and enhance our corporate and multi-location retail technology environment. This is not a traditional helpdesk role. You will play a key part in network infrastructure, IT operations, and store technology support, with hands-on exposure to LAN/WAN environments, SD-WAN connectivity, Microsoft 365 administration, and infrastructure projects. If you enjoy working both in the office and in the field, solving real-world technical challenges, and contributing to a growing organization—this role is for you.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations, or Infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, LAN/WAN environments, VLANs and switching, Basic routing and firewall concepts
  • Experience with managed switches and wireless access points
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
  • Willingness to travel to store locations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SD-WAN technologies
  • Exposure to network design or architecture
  • Familiarity with Fortinet, Cisco, Ubiquiti, or similar
  • Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Retail or multi-location IT experience
  • Certifications (a plus): CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure across corporate and retail locations
  • Troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, and access points
  • Support SD-WAN connectivity and network performance monitoring
  • Configure VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and basic routing policies
  • Assist with network optimization and infrastructure improvements
  • Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
  • Manage Tier 1 & Tier 2 support tickets through the helpdesk system
  • Provide both remote and on-site support for store locations
  • Install and maintain workstations and laptops, network printers, POS systems and related equipment, IP telephony systems
  • Administer Microsoft 365: User provisioning and access management, License assignment and MFA setup, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint support
  • Support implementation of security policies (e.g., Conditional Access)
  • Assist with endpoint compliance and device management
  • Maintain hardware inventory and asset tracking
  • Promote IT security best practices across the organization
  • Support new store openings and relocations
  • Assist with network upgrades and hardware refresh cycles
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers
  • Help develop and document IT SOPs and processes
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Merchandising, and Store Leadership
  • Communicate technical solutions clearly to non-technical teams
  • Provide basic training and guidance to store personnel
