About The Position

Global- a 1st Flagship Company is a woman-owned small business and a leader in Marine Support Services and Emergency Management. As the Department of Navy's trusted Prime Contractor since 1964, they manage, operate, and maintain the U.S. Navy Inactive Ship fleet. The IT Support Specialist II will provide day-to-day IT support and contribute to maintaining a secure and compliant environment in alignment with NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NISPOM. This role involves user support, system administration, monitoring, and assisting with the implementation of security controls under the direction of senior IT/security personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or junior cybersecurity roles
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365

Nice To Haves

  • Systems Technician work: administering mobile device Intune, identity protection systems
  • Experience in a regulated or government contracting environment is a plus
  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365/Azure fundamentals or administer certifications is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support.
