About The Position

The IT Support Services Assistant provides telephone, email, and walk-in IT support assistance for students, faculty, and staff of the Chatham University community. This position is for the academic year and does not include summer. The assistant helps with various IT support areas including Microsoft products, printing and device support, Windows OS, Mac OSX, iPhone, Android, and other software and hardware issues. Students create and manage tickets using Chatham’s IT ticketing system, Teamdynamix (TDX). Other duties include classroom/office technology checks, inventory, general upkeep/cleaning, and A/V equipment setup and teardown. Requirements

  • Must be a current student.
  • Ability to work during the academic year (not including summer).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products, printing and device support, Windows OS, Mac OSX, iPhone, Android, and other software and hardware issues.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Teamdynamix preferred).
  • Ability to perform technology checks, inventory, and general upkeep.
  • Ability to set up and tear down A/V equipment.
  • Students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.
  • Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

  • Experience with Teamdynamix ticketing system.
