About The Position

We're looking for a highly capable IT Support Engineer II with strong Apple Mac expertise and solid Windows experience to join our Dallas office. This is a hands-on, high-impact role—you'll run point on all local IT needs, from support and inventory to projects and employee experience. You'll operate independently, make smart decisions, and keep things running without needing constant direction. You'll be the face of IT in the Dallas office. This role goes beyond support—you'll shape how technology works for employees day to day, improve processes, and bring a higher standard to the overall IT experience.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience across Mac and Windows environments
  • Strong expertise in macOS and Apple hardware, with solid working knowledge of Windows OS
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues
  • Clear, effective communication—you can explain technical concepts in a simple way
  • A calm, service-oriented approach to support
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Experience managing inventory and asset tracking
  • Curiosity and a drive to keep learning
  • Natural leadership instincts—others rely on you for guidance

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced support for both Apple Mac and Windows devices
  • Troubleshoot issues across login/authentication, network connectivity, and VoIP systems
  • Maintain, repair, or coordinate replacement of office equipment
  • Own the technical onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Configure and deploy devices for new hires (Mac and Windows), including imaging and shipping
  • Deprovision accounts and coordinate hardware returns for departing employees
  • Track and manage all local IT assets and equipment
  • Ensure devices are available, functional, and up to date
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and lifecycle tracking
  • Lead and execute IT projects that improve workflows and infrastructure
  • Partner with the global IT team on company-wide initiatives
  • Mentor junior team members and support their growth
  • Deliver the IT portion of new hire orientation
  • Test and roll out new tools and technologies
  • Stay current on security best practices and apply them locally
  • Perform routine system maintenance and keep documentation up to date
