Now we want to make an addition to our world-class team—this time, we are looking for an exceptional IT Support / Computer Systems Technician who will join us to deliver our highly innovative Gas Turbine Engine Solutions to our customers around the globe. As an IT Support / Computer Systems Technician, you will manage the MDS facility’s IT systems which include computers, networks, internet access and other technology.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in an IT support role is preferred.
  • Successful completion of post-secondary diploma in Computer Science or related field or MCSE.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Windows Server and Active Directory Services.
  • Experience working with and administering the O365 environment.
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • You are curious, self-starter, wanting to acquire, and share knowledge.
  • You have strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the first point of contact for all users’ hardware, software and network infrastructure questions and requests
  • Perform troubleshooting and execute needed repairs.
  • Install and configure hardware equipment and software programs
  • Execute different maintenance activities when needed.
  • Work with management and other departments to assist in the implementation of the IT plan and train the individuals who will need to use it.
  • Establish various guidelines for evaluating the IT systems and determine where changes should be made.
  • Assist in budgeting for IT expenses, including the purchase of new equipment and software when necessary.
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned
