About The Position

This is a posting for an existing job vacancy. The hourly wage rate for this position is $20.86. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This job has minimal supervisorial responsibilities, limited to leading and motivating a team within a work area(s) to accomplish the assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum 1-year experience in technology management or Education equivalent.
  • You have experience or interest in working with: LAN and WAN technology and concepts, Windows 7, 8, 10, Office 2013, 2016, 365, Active Directory, Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013, SharePoint 2013, iPhone, iPads, HP and Android devices, Point of Sales Devices
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Must be able to work events as scheduled, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have strong communication, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
  • Must have the ability to be independent, flexible, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Must be nice.
  • English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English.

Nice To Haves

  • POS system experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills are considered an asset.
  • Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.
  • French is considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to requests for technical assistance for the following technologies: Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Clover, printer routing, basic network connectivity, etc.
  • Educate yourself on the IT & POS solutions that are implemented and help develop training plans and documentation for users.
  • Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and provide support for Clover POS hardware, Network printers, desktop computers, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Help coordinate event setup plans and post event storage for POS devices.
  • When required, work with our client’s onsite IT team to communicate related network issues and find resolutions.
  • Involves logging all interactions, and escalating situations requiring urgent attention to Coordinator and Manager.
  • Must follow established IT policies and procedures
  • Assist with setting up employee accounts
  • Assist in analyzing problems and developing recommendations and action plans.
  • Contribute to resolutions of incidents and service requests using available information resources.
  • Assist in documenting and tracking all resolutions.
  • Advise users on appropriate action and clearly set expectations.
