About The Position

The IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Supply Chain Management role is a full-time position within the Accounting Department at Texas Health Resources. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Healthcare related fields
3 Years experience in data analytics to include financial analysis and quantitative/ qualitative assessment in supply chain, healthcare or related industry

Understanding of sourcing and contracting principles

Responsibilities

Manage the RFP process for each strategic sourcing initiative within the assigned category and/ or service line.
Assists with the monitoring of supplier performance through developing measuring tools and checking references.
Documents and communicates the identified vs. realized savings and engages end users in needed process change or product conversion.
Assist Program Director with the development and maintenance of a strategic roadmap and contract calendar for assigned category.
Follow standardized sourcing processes and templates to support repeatability, auditability, and quality.
Lead (or assist with) the development of negotiation scenarios, cost models, and category.
