About The Position

Reporting to the Applications Manager, the Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of mainly Business Application / Systems projects. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership, and project management expertise to manage complex initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with business objectives. This position is critical to implement IT solutions efficiently, while maintaining high standards of quality and performance delivered on time, within budget and above customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
  • Fluent in English (written / spoken).
  • Communication skills knowing that the role will interact with end users, developers and applications vendors, business’ 3rd parties, and organizational leaders. This includes active listening, written communication, and verbal communication.
  • Problem-Solving skills as the role must be an expert at identifying problems and developing successful solutions (analytical thinking and the ability to assess various options before making decisions).
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze information, evaluating data and processes, to make or recommend informed decisions or improvements.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt strategies and solutions to a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • Technical experience: Solid understanding of technology applications, and how they can be leveraged to improve business operations.
  • +5 years of Project Management.
  • +5 years of experience in manufacturing companies.
  • +5 years of experience in applications projects like ERP, MES, Scheduling, or SPC systems.
  • Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to influence decision-making.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deliver on time.
  • Ability to think analytically, critically and creatively to solve business challenges.
  • Team player

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant project management certifications like PMP/PMI, Prince2, Agile, and Scrum (desirable).
  • Familiarity Project Management tools like MS Project, JIRA, Celoxis, Monday, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives, scope, develop detailed project plans and track progress against milestones to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, allocate resources efficiently and monitor expenditures to maintain financial control.
  • Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies and resolve issues to keep the projects on track.
  • Lead, mentor and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and productivity, and resolving conflicts.
  • Serve as the primary interface between IT and business functions, providing regular updates to senior management, steering committees and stakeholders.
  • Recommend technology solutions, optimize workflows and implement best practices in project management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to organizational policies, industry standards and quality requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation throughout the application / project lifecycle, including business requirements, functional requirements, technical specifications, interfaces and status reports is essential for ensuring alignment among all project participants.
  • Regarding the change network (Super Users, Key Users) guarantee that learning curves are well addressed.
  • Assess Adoption and Proficiency of Changes Within the Organization: In compliance with the applications change management approach and methodology.
