About The Position

Parsons is looking for an IT Support Level 1 Specialist to join their team. This role focuses on providing excellent user support for externally facing customer platforms, assisting with day-to-day IT operations, and learning from experienced team members. The role will not support internal Parsons IT systems.

Requirements

1–2 years of IT support experience or equivalent coursework/internship experience.
Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Zendesk or similar platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to Cisco Meraki systems or similar networking tools.
Basic understanding of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with iOS device setup and management.
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Microsoft MS-900).

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1 support for client platforms, including Windows 11 environments and Dell laptops.
Perform basic troubleshooting of Cisco Meraki infrastructure (switches, wireless access points).
Support Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune MDM.
Assist with iOS device setup and management using Apple Business Manager.
Monitor IT systems and escalate issues to Level 2 support or senior team members.
Resolve support tickets through Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation.
Maintain IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
Perform basic asset management and inventory tracking.
Promote security best practices and assist with endpoint management.
Participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge.
