About The Position

Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. Our recipes are developed by leading animal nutritionists, and are made with only real, fresh ingredients... and nothing artificial! We have lofty goals (to make every dog in the country healthier, and every pet parent happier!) and we are looking for the right people to help us get there. We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Specialist to support and maintain our organization’s technology infrastructure. The IT Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining systems and networks, onboarding and offboarding employees, supporting end users, and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration
  • Strong knowledge of Mac and PC (Lenovo) operating systems
  • Networking: e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Routers, Firewalls, Wi-Fi configuration and troubleshooting
  • Cybersecurity: Access control, MFA, malware/phishing prevention
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, cloud services, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment
  • Monitor and maintain network performance, security, and connectivity
  • Troubleshoot system and application issues and resolve technical problems promptly
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
  • Perform software updates, patches, and system backups
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations
  • Maintaining documentation on employee devices and employee systems access
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees, including account setup, equipment provisioning, system access, and asset recovery
  • Coordinate with HR and department managers to ensure new hires have appropriate technology access and departing employees are securely removed from systems
  • Assist with onboarding and training employees on company technology and IT policies
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary
  • Recommend technology improvements and assist with IT projects and upgrades
