Omicelo is seeking an organized, responsive, accountable, and efficient IT Specialist to support technology operations across Omicelo and its portfolio companies. Critical responsibilities of this role include administering and supporting our Microsoft 365 environment, including Intune, Autopilot, device management, security controls, and user support. This role serves as a key resource for maintaining a secure, reliable, and effective technology environment while delivering exceptional support to approximately 50 employees across Omicelo and affiliated portfolio companies, with anticipation of significant future headcount growth. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented professional with strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills who can manage competing demands with discretion and sound judgment. Success in this role requires a proactive mindset, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to continuous improvement in technology, security, and user experience. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.
Broad understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage tasks and projects, and appropriately escalate issues when needed.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of network systems and cloud-based networking technologies.
Ability to synthesize information and make independent decisions.
Ability to manage and adjust processes as business needs evolve.
Initiative and adaptability in a changing environment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role.

Responsibilities

Administer Microsoft 365, including Intune, Autopilot, security policies, and email systems.
Administer and maintain security controls and best practices across all IT systems and devices.
Administer and configure cloud-based applications and services.
Administer backup solutions and ensure data recovery readiness.
Administer and maintain DNS services.
Administer, maintain, and configure Windows PCs.
Manage the company help desk.
Assess needs for new equipment and software.
Drive initiatives to improve user satisfaction and technology experience.
Identify and eliminate security risks.
Manage device security and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Administer, maintain, and configure the cloud-based phone system (RingCentral).
Administer, maintain, and configure site network and wireless network systems.
Communicate and collaborate with IT team members and other departments as needed.
Develop and provide training on IT systems and security best practices.
Maintain current documentation for IT processes, system configurations, and support procedures.
