IT Specialist II’s work is tactical in nature and includes creating intermediate technical work products in information technology. They are expected to resolve moderate level work problems. Work is performed under general direction of upper-level classifications with moderate latitude for individual and team initiative. Work requires intermediate proficiency in one of the following areas: database administration, network management, desktop management, server management, application design, application development, enterprise architecture, quality assurance, incident management, service management, production application services, asset management, storage area network, middleware management, project/portfolio management and document management. This position reports to an IT Supervisor. Working Titles: Service Support Analyst.
