IT SOX Compliance Analyst
About The Position
The IT SOX Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the company's IT systems and processes comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of IT audit, IT compliance, and IT operations, with a focus on SOX or IPO-readiness. The analyst will play a key role in implementing and remediating IT General Controls (ITGCs), managing multiple remediation workstreams, and maintaining excellent documentation for audit purposes. Experience in modern tech environments and collaboration with external auditors or consulting firms is essential.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in IT audit, IT compliance, or IT operations.
- Exposure to SOX or IPO-readiness.
- Proven experience implementing or remediating ITGCs (Access, Change, Operations).
- Familiarity with tools and environments commonly used in modern tech companies (e.g., AWS, Okta, Jira, Google Workspace, Workday, NetSuite).
- Strong project management and tracking skills.
- Excellent documentation and evidence collection discipline for audit purposes.
- Experience working in partnership with consulting firms or external auditors.
- Prior involvement in a pre-IPO readiness or SOX 404 implementation project.
- CISA, CISSP, or equivalent certification.
