About The Position

The IT Solutions Design Specialist leads the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution with overall accountability for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS) and is largely focused on large-scale, complex or enterprise projects. May also be accountable for complex programming / coding. Provides technical expertise and guidance to others in a lead capacity and works autonomously. Expert knowledge of the business, the broader organization, technical environment, processes, procedures, tools and other relevant technology areas (e.g. Architecture, Infrastructure, Security etc.) from a design / support / solutions perspective. Primary subject matter expert in multiple areas and consults with clients/or project teams with respect to all aspects of research, analysis, design, hardware / software support and/or development of technical solutions and/or testing. Works autonomously and leads on a diverse range of activities (e.g. design, support of technical business solutions) and is relied upon to coach / educate and monitor the work of others. Acts as an internal expert resource in the exchange of technical information for project teams, and provides technical insight and recommendations to the business and/or outside vendors. Typically reports to a Senior IT Development Manager or higher.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• 7+ years related experience

• Graduate degree, preferred
• 5+ Years of experience with JAVA, J2EE, Web/Rest Services Development
• 5+ Years of experience Javascript, Python, Spring, Security, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, NodeJS, React, Angular
• 5+ years of experience with Bitbucket, GIT, GitHub, Maven Jenkins, JIRA
• 5+ Years of experience of Real time Data Ingestion, Handling Large volume of Data
• 5+ Years of Experience with Cloud Services on Azure Docker, Kubernetes
• GitHub, Co-Pilot, SonarQube, Jscript, Splunk, CI-CD Pipeline framework
• 3+ Years of experience in Agile Methodology
• Prior Banking or Financial Industry
• Database experience with NoSQL database is strong plus
