IT Software Engineer, EA EPS
About The Position
Micron Technology is seeking an IT Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, and support scalable enterprise planning solutions across Kinaxis, SAP, Blue Yonder (BY), and related applications. The role works with IT, Information Security, Technology, and business teams to understand end-to-end processes, integrations, and data flows, and to assess upstream and downstream impacts of system changes. The engineer analyzes and troubleshoots complex system and integration issues, using AI and data-assisted analysis where appropriate to support impact assessment, root-cause analysis, solution design, testing, and continuous improvement. The role also uses AI assistants and large language models to support software development, automation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, with appropriate human review and accountability. It identifies opportunities for AI-enabled and agentic AI solutions and process improvements across enterprise planning and supply chain applications.
Responsibilities
- Work with teams across IT, Information Security, Technology, and business functions to drive impactful change.
- Design, develop, integrate, and support scalable enterprise solutions across Kinaxis, SAP, Blue Yonder, and related enterprise planning applications.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex system and integration issues across Kinaxis, SAP, and Blue Yonder, using AI, Generative AI, and AI-enabled tools where applicable.
- Understand end-to-end business processes, system integrations, and data flows across enterprise planning platforms, and assess upstream and downstream impacts of application and software changes.
- Use data and AI-assisted analysis for impact assessment, root-cause analysis, solution design, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end integration testing, system validation, and performance analysis; resolve issues and drive initiatives through completion.
- Use AI assistants and large language models, where appropriate, to support software development, analysis, automation, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation, while maintaining human review and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for AI-enabled and agentic AI solutions, automation, and process improvements across enterprise planning and supply chain applications.
