About The Position

The IT Software Engineer will bridge design engineering with supply chain operations to accelerate time-to-market, ensure product compliance, and drive supply chain excellence through Cisco’s PLM platform. The role leads end-to-end IT solution architecture for Siemens Teamcenter (Active Workspace), with focus on Item and BOM Management, Engineering Change Management, Advanced Classification, Vendor Collaboration, and related modules. The engineer will explore AI-driven capabilities, establish Teamcenter configuration standards, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions that support long-term PLM strategy. The position also guides functional teams, manages cross-track dependencies, and optimizes workflows using emerging technologies such as AI. The role is part of Cisco’s Supply Chain IT team, which builds, supports, and improves services, tools, platforms, data, and an end-to-end Orchestrator system. The team works collaboratively to optimize and automate business processes, use cloud services, and develop in-house solutions. This position is hybrid, with an expectation that eligible candidates will be present in the office on a semi-regular basis.
