IT Software Developer Assistant Manager - 2nd Shift
About The Position
IT Professional Software developer will work with other engineers and participate in designing, implementing and managing business web applications and its servers. High level of proficiency working on continuous improvement, utilizing Database, Web Applications development is required. This position provides project management and assistance with IT operational and GEA systems (GCS, JIS, WMS, IVELES, TMS others New systems...) and manage and improve systems reliability, security, availability, and flexibility for excellent information services. This is a full-time, 2nd Shift role, with a thirty-minute lunch period, but start and end times may vary depending on business needs. Second shift personnel may be trained during first shift operations for a period of time until transitioning to a permanent second shift schedule. 2nd shift hours will vary according to business needs. Please be aware that day, evening, night, morning, overtime, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.
Requirements
- Develop and implement applications by using programming language( Java, Vue, C#, SQL, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle, Java, JDK, Java related framework(Springboot, HTML, CSS, SVN, Node JS, etc.)
- Experience with open source software(Linux, AWS.Python. etc.)
- Database(Maria, Tibero, Oracle)
- Programming experience(PL/SQL)
- Experience with Middleware(Nginx,Tomcat,WebtoB,JEUS,Apache,Jboss)
- Must be able to move around the office as well as walk to and from shops located throughout the plant.
- Must possess critical listening skills to discern end user issues.
- Must be able to communicate well in both written and oral form.
- Occasionally required to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) such as servers and other network related equipment.
- Must be able to walk for long periods from building to building to replace or install desktop and network hardware to support customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing Application Systems
- Develop and propose resolutions or alternative solutions for better information services
- Direct and design system architecture
- Evaluate/propose Hardware, software, solutions
- Act as a liaison with customers and partners IT Departments
- Develop and implement Application by using programming language
- System Enhancement in Applications & Infrastructure
- New implementation and Modification of IT program/software
- Requirements analysis and Application System Design and Development including Database
- Implementation and testing the New Enterprise-Applications
- Monitor system failure & performance and properly resolve them in right time
- Share system knowledge with team members so there is a backup member when one is absent
- Research for the enhancement or improvement of IT systems
- Keep up with new technology/trend and adopt them to IT system and software
