IT Site Manager
About The Position
Primary Purpose Manages IT Manufacturing support technicians. Acts as an IT point-of-contact for the plant, feed mill, and operations teams throughout the complex. Leads IT projects as needed. Acts as an IT Lead for business-led projects and represents and coordinates IT efforts on behalf of the department. Major Duties & Responsibilities Leads IT Manufacturing projects to deliver new and extended systems to the business. Leads and coordinates IT portions of all projects business-led at the complexes, such as new construction, renovation, and expansions. Participates in engineering project meetings representing IT. Provides direction and support to IT Technical Support and IT Plant Systems Technicians; trains and develops skills to increase competency and commitment. Supports IT equipment in plants, feed mills, and other manufacturing areas. Ensures system uptime and reliability. Ensures systems are patched, up-to-date and secure. Looks for ways to improve existing systems and works with IT and business stakeholders to recommend and deliver improvements. Protects company assets (hardware and software).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
- 5+ years' experience in the computer field.
