About The Position

IT Site Engineer Seatrax Equipment Services is a global leader in the repair of drilling equipment. Job Summary: We are seeking an IT Site engineer with bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or 5 years verifiable related field/site equivalent experience. Salary commensurate with experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or 5 years verifiable related field/site equivalent experience.
  • System administration of Windows Server 2022 experience required including group policy, Active Directory.
  • Minimum of 2 years IT support experience in a MS Office 365 environment administering Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive including permissions and basic oversite concepts.
  • Manage and administration of phpMyAdmin in a VM Hyper-V environment
  • Effective communication and customer-service mindset; ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
  • Deep understanding, experience and technical skill required for Sage 50 (2026) for a multi company platform in a VM environment.
  • Strong network Ubiquity/Unifi Dream Machine Pro experience for Gateway management, DHCP/DNS, switches, access points, VPN, VLAN and Tunnel configurations.
  • Administration and management of endpoint/devices through RDP, connectwise, Ninja 1, Threat Locker, Huntress.
  • Experience coordinating vendors/MSPs and managing escalations as needed.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Enterprise environment including Server 2022, Office 365 management.
  • myPHP and mySQL
  • Networking and Security (certifications preferred)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Excellent communications and customer service/user support

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal IT support resource for users across multiple offices (Windows environment)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues for end users.
  • Manage onboarding/offboarding for Windows in an Active Directory environment and Office 365.
  • Manage device provisioning, account setup, access changes, and equipment collection.
  • Maintain and refine (as needed) standards for workstations, software deployment, patching/updates, and endpoint protection.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory (devices, peripherals, licenses).
  • Coordinate with Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners for escalation, specialized projects, and coverage.
  • Administer Microsoft A.D. and Office 365 environment including users, groups, licensing, and access controls.
  • Support, improve and enforce policy control around Windows Server (2022), Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive for best practices.
  • Progress to Zero Trust Environment with Threat Locker in multi-agency environments.
  • Build clear IT documentation, including standards, onboarding/offboarding and systems/licenses administration.
  • Coordinate request intake/work management processes to improve visibility and accountability.
  • Identify and implement improvements to reduce issues, increase consistency, and enhance user experience.
