About The Position

The IT Service Specialist will act as the primary point of IT contact for assigned Karcher North America (KNA) locations. This role involves providing expert troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving incidents and requests for internal and remote users. The specialist will partner directly with site management and collaborate cross-functionally between IT towers to align technical improvements, projects, and solutions with business objectives. Additionally, the role requires defining technical requirements and managing the full lifecycle of small to medium business improvement projects from initiation to completion. The specialist will also optimize user efficiency by adhering to inventory, asset, peripheral, change, and incident management procedures and best practices, and perform visual inspections of physical server hardware, providing remote hands-and-eyes support for cabling, data gathering, and power resets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information systems (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of hands-on technical support experience in a multi-user environment
  • Strong experience deploying and troubleshooting desktop hardware, peripherals, and foundational network/server components like AD, GPO, DNS, and DHCP
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows, O365, MS Office suite, Outlook, VOIP clients, print servers, SCCM, Azure, and mobile device management
  • Working knowledge of project management, ITIL Fundamentals, and structural process implementation

  • CompTIA A+ certification

Responsibilities
