Position Summary Carries out computer operations and provides user support through troubleshooting and performing maintenance. Resolves hardware and software issues to optimize system efficiency and uptime.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Service desk or customer support experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic troubleshooting and technical support skills.

Responsibilities

  • Installs basic hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment.
  • Conducts remote troubleshooting using diagnostic techniques.
  • Records and documents all issues from initial contact through resolution.
  • Monitors company systems around the clock to ensure uninterrupted service for employees.
  • Reports internet and circuit outages and collaborates with Internet Service Providers to restore service.
  • Provides service access, follows up on requests, and maintains current information.
  • Conducts daily maintenance and reports system performance.
