About The Position

StudyFetch is hiring an IT & Security Operations Intern to support its growing team by managing people, devices, and systems. This role involves direct collaboration with the engineer responsible for IT, access, and compliance, and will be the primary point of contact for new hires needing equipment and system access. StudyFetch develops AI-native learning products, including StudyFetch for students and Honen for workforce training, operating in a fast-paced environment that heavily utilizes AI tooling. The internship offers hands-on experience from the outset.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently finished a degree or program in CS, IT, information systems, cybersecurity or similar
Comfortable on macOS and the command line
Organized and reliable with sensitive things like credentials and access lists
Clear, friendly communicator who follows up without being chased
Already uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or similar) to work faster

Nice To Haves

Google Workspace admin, Okta or other SSO experience
Exposure to Google Cloud, Cloudflare or GitHub org management
Familiarity with SOC 2 or compliance platforms like Vanta or Drata
Experience with MDM or Mac fleet management
Some scripting in Python, Bash or TypeScript

Responsibilities

Onboard new hires end-to-end, including creating Google Workspace and Slack accounts, provisioning role-specific tools (Claude, Honen, Mixpanel, RevenueCat, Granola, support system, password manager), and coordinating office keycards and parking.
Set up and track hardware, including ordering, imaging, and distributing MacBooks, and maintaining device inventory.
Manage the offboarding process by removing access across all systems and assisting with bulk offboarding.
Handle access requests for GitHub repos, Google Cloud roles, storage buckets, and admin-console changes, applying the principle of least privilege.
Ensure compliance by working in Vanta for new hire security training and device setup within the 14-day SLA, addressing failing tests, and gathering evidence for audits.
Manage SaaS seats and vendors, tracking tool usage, promoting seat adoption, and maintaining vendor and app inventory.
Automate repetitive tasks using internal AI agents and Claude, and develop small internal tools on the internal deploy platform.
Provide day-to-day IT support, prepare machines for customer demos and events, and document fixes.
