About The Position
The IT Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining Martin-Baker America's security posture and defending it from cyber threats. The role supports and enhances the organization's cybersecurity posture by safeguarding information systems, monitoring threats, improving security configurations, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards such as CMMC and NIST 800-171. Successful candidates must adhere to company policies and safety requirements and complete a background check and drug screening.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an operational IT environment, including experience with incident handling and security controls.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.
- Successful candidates must complete a background check and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Exposure to CMMC, NIST 800-171, and/or other compliance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of new and current IT vulnerabilities and threats, and suggest appropriate prevention or remediation actions.
- Suggest secure system configurations in accordance with CMMC and industry best practices.
- Maintain the organization's CMMC compliance status and GRC tracking tool.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize a corporate SIEM.
