About The Position

The IT Sales Consultant will play a pivotal role in expanding iPower Technologies’ market presence by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and providing technological solutions that align with customers’ operational needs. This role requires strong technical acumen, consultative selling ability, and a deep understanding of managed services and infrastructure solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT sales, MSP sales, or technology consulting.
  • Working knowledge of computers, servers, storage solutions, networking technologies, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with an ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable operating both independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling managed service provider (MSP) solutions.
  • Previous experience with Microsoft 365, VMware, firewalls, switching, backup solutions, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with quoting and CRM systems (e.g., ConnectWise, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across SMB and mid-enterprise clients in the Cherry Hill region.
  • Conduct consultative assessments to understand customer requirements for computers, servers, storage, networking, and managed services
  • Present tailored IT solutions—including hardware, projects, and managed service offerings—to address client needs and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design solutions, create proposals, and ensure technical accuracy.
  • Stay knowledgeable on iPower’s full portfolio of services, including support, configuration, imaging, infrastructure deployments, and managed service packages.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing client relationships to promote renewals, expansions, and repeat business.
  • Track sales activities and pipeline updates in CRM tools.
  • Represent iPower Technologies at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
