About The Position

Action for Children is seeking an IT Project Support Officer for a six-month fixed-term contract, working 21 hours per week. This remote role, based in the UK, offers flexibility in working hours. The successful candidate will support the Oracle Stabilisation Programme by maintaining project frameworks, plans, records, reports, RAID logs, and dashboards, ensuring project teams remain on track. Requirements

• Experience supporting programmes or projects in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Strong planning and communication skills.
• Confidence using tools such as Copilot, Word, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Outlook.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using Mission Control project management tool.
• Experience supporting an Oracle project.
• Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2 Foundation, AgilePM, ITIL Foundation, or P3O.

Responsibilities

• Support project documentation, including PIDs, action logs, minutes, and task completion tracking, particularly for Audit procedures.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and RAID logs for monthly governance boards.
• Support the preparation of monthly sponsor updates.
• Coordinate meetings, boards, communications, and stakeholder relationships.
• Support project closure, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives.
