About The Position

The IT Project Sr Tech Lead is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. This role is typically held by a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. This role is accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. It necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy and primarily affects a sub-function. The role is responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in a related technology role and subject matter expert in overall field
• Hands-on knowledge of Python | C# | .NET | Java | JavaScript | Azure | Cloud Computing | SDLC | Business Intelligence | Data Analysis

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement AI/ML models: Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms and neural networks to solve complex business problems, and integrate them into new or existing software applications.
• Data Management and Processing: Work with large, complex datasets to prepare, clean, and preprocess data for training and evaluating AI models, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaboration and Prototyping: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to prototype, test, and refine AI-powered features and solutions.
• Provides expertise in projects managed and demonstrates an advanced level of understanding of the principles of data management and IT project leadership.
• Stay Current with AI Trends.
• Directly impacts the business through contribution to technical direction and strategic decisions for IT Project Leadership.
• Influences and negotiates with senior leaders (across functions); may communicate with external parties.
• Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within technology to achieve technology objectives.
• Responsible for resource management and allocation of work; acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
