About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The role focuses on project delivery within the Counterparty Credit Risk Technology team, working on a high-profile application critical for managing counterparty credit risk and funding risk across all trading portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology project delivery.

Requirements

• Experience with Project Management methodologies (SDLC, Waterfall, etc)
• Knowledge of counterparty credit risk, global markets, and related products
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with Agile tools (Jira)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working on a software development team at a large financial institution
• Prior experience with the client's internal tools and processes
• Knowledge of Agile methodology

Responsibilities

• Provide direct delivery responsibility and oversight for all projects, recognizing when individual projects may be off track
• Identify risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) and proactively manage/report on them
• Review and/or publish the weekly status report for the program
• Consistently meet with project managers to understand progress and issues across projects and provide support as necessary
• Manage weekly status reporting and prepare materials for presentation to stakeholders
