About The Position

ITTConnect is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to work on site for a client in the Columbus, OH area. This is a potentially long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services with over 300,000 team members in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the energy sector. This Technical PM will drive accountability and ownership on multiple internal initiatives for Middleware. We need people who have managed large programs/projects that require heavy coordination across cross-functional teams and can really drive schedule and budgets. Ideally PMP Certified with good exposure to Project Financial and Risk management aspects.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Project management, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
  • Quick learner and gets familiar with program vision.
  • Ability to conduct Executive-level meetings with stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Experience with middleware projects.
  • Strong understanding of Waterfall, Scrum/Agile principles and Kanban methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational and strong communicator (written and verbal).
  • Experience with managing a cross functional team that includes both full-time and part-time team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage risks effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP Certified
  • good exposure to Project Financial and Risk management aspects.
  • Experience with project documentation and management tools, such as Jira

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate Project Delivery ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Create & maintain comprehensive project documents to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the project lifecycle in accordance with established project governance.
  • Coordinate IT, Business Unit (BU), and vendor review meetings, ensuring effective follow-ups on action items and progress.
  • Track and coordinate the progress of the client's tasks and activities.
  • Report project status to the Executive team in order to assess risks, issues, and impediments.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and strategies for resolution.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities within the project team to enhance quality and optimize value delivery.
  • Establish regular cadence for meeting with the teams to monitor progress
